PARALEGAL RESPONSIBILITIES

 Paralegals and legal assistants do a variety of tasks to support lawyers, including maintaining and organizing files, conducting legal research, and drafting documents.

JOB OUTLOOK

Paralegals have a median pay of $49,500 per year or $23.50 per hour nationwide. This can vary depending upon location. As of 2014, there were 279,500 paralegal jobs in the U.S. From 2014-2024 there will be an additional 21,200 paralegal positions added.
